social media

Most people say that people are not themselves when they use social media. They say that everyone tries to be someone else. But like most of the time I disagree with this thought.

I believe that social media is a platform that anyone can use to raise their voice. It is something that makes everyone equal, since you don’t know if the person you’re talking to is a president or a janitor.

Yes, people can use them for misleading purposes but those who make the proper use of it know what I mean.

To prove my point take me as an example. All that I post on this blog are things that I cannot say out loud in real life because of fear and oppression. So, social media gives me a chance to actually be myself and it helps me find people who accept me for who I am without actually knowing me.

If you agree with me, please like this post and spread around the actual idea behind the discovery of websites such as “Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr etc.”

Happiness is something that cannot be brought by money but it is something that can be shared amongst people.

These days technology has taken over everything from our family to our social life which includes our happiness. If you loose two followers in one day the day goes from best to worst day of your life. This is one type of sadness.

Another type is where maybe, someone lost someone they held dear to themselves and turn on Twitter in the hope that someone would understand their feelings but instead the others just lash out at them because of what they’re writing.

So, I believe that even if you add one little smiley ūüôā to what you type it might make¬†someone’s day.

Moral of Post: Spread happiness (face to face or on media)

(keep the picture above in mind while reading this, also the picture is from the set of Allegiant)

Tris and Tobias are on their honeymoon. They decide to go hiking in the woods behind their little cabin in the mountains. But after¬†a few hours they get carried away and lose track of where they’re going.

Tris pulls out a copy of her map and tries checking where they are but is unable to. After hours of pointlessly wandering around, they manage to find a path and their way back.

I know this makes no sense but this is what came to my mind when I first saw this picture. You’ll understand this only if you’ve read the book or seen the movie.

So, if you understood what I meant please leave a comment!

child labour

Hopeful eyes, happy smiles

Soft hands, million dreams

Is this not the identity of a child?

Then why do I see

Tear filled eyes, terrified faces

Rough hands, and shattered dreams

(poem by Alicia White)

The only thing in this world that gets to me and makes me cry is child labour.

I was once a child too and I remember being pampered and rushed to a hospital as soon as I even sneezed. But these poor children often lay¬†on roads suffering¬†because there’s no one to help them.

I remember going to candy shops and buying teddy bears, then going to McDonald’s for lunch. These poor¬†children don’t even get a stale piece¬†of bread to satisfy their appetite.

These children crave learning. They would give anything to go to school and¬†then there’s all those fortunate children who think that school is a hell of a place.

When I was five I had my parents carry my bag for me into my classroom and back. Then there are these kids who carry thousands of bricks for miles everyday.

Is this even fair?

I know that life is not fair.

But some things can be made fair if people want to.

I can’t do much now, but I hope that once¬†I grow up. If there’s¬†one thing I’ll do, that’s stop child labour.

wedding proposal

All girls dream that one day they’ll find the love of their life and will have a happy little family. I do too, so I have these moments when I search up girlish things and watch them.

Today I searched up videos of people proposing and one of them was this one, it’s awesome and made me cry. Do watch it:

“My son is my son till he finds himself a wife,

My daughter is my daughter for my entire life.”

the most beautiful relationship in this world is that of a daughter and her father.

What inspired me to post this?

Yesterday, I was watching TV and my dad was sitting next to me. I wasn’t paying attention to him but then I happened to look at him out of the corner of my eye and he was watching me with a smile on his face.

army (think about it)

Today in Pakistan, near Gujranwala a train fell into a canal because a bridge broke. This was a train seating army officials. Four bogies fell in and so far eighteen people have been reported dead.

Out of these the ones who¬†belonged to the army¬†were at once¬†called “Martyrs.” But the poor driver who also lost his life was just called. “Jan¬†Bahq” This is the Urdu translation of dead.

How can they do this? I mean, they lost their lives too and mind you in the same way as all the army people!

what I’m saying is that this isn’t fair.
